Explore the future of plastics in ‘With or Without You’, a new multimedia art exhibition that reflects on the life, death, and afterlife of synthetic materials, examining our complex relationship with them. Running at the Goethe-Institut in Dublin from 8th November to 7th December 2024, the exhibition features work by four international artists who participated in the Glenkeen Garden Residencies in West Cork.
Goethe-Institut’s ‘Slow Touring’ project brings up-and-coming Berlin musician to Ireland
The Goethe-Institut Irland has announced that Berlin-based queer musician, model, dancer LIE NING will be coming to Dublin next month for two concerts as part of its sustainability-focused ‘Slow Touring’ project. LIE NING, whose music blends indie, soul and R’n’B, released their debut album utopia in April 2023 to critical acclaim. The album was produced by Irish Grammy winner Stephen Fitzmaurice, known for his work with artists including U2, Sam Smith, Alicia Keys, and Mary J Blige.

Presented jointly by the Goethe-Institut and the Crespo Foundation, the exhibition marks the start of ‘The Glenkeen Variations’, a series of art exhibitions at the Goethe-Institut, which features the work of ten international artists who have participated in the Glenkeen Garden Residencies, an artist-in-residence programme in West Cork.
Goethe-Institut issues open call for Studio Quantum artist-in-residence programme
The Goethe-Institut Irland has issued an open call for applications for its international Studio Quantum artist-in-residence programme. Geoscience research and innovation central to tackling major challenges facing society – iCRAG

West Kerry farmers to mark end of year-long sustainability project with public event
