Goethe-Institut issues open call for Studio Quantum artist-in-residence programme

The Goethe-Institut Irland has issued an open call for applications for its international Studio Quantum artist-in-residence programme. Artists based in Ireland and seven additional participating countries are invited to submit their applications to take part in the programme before the application deadline on 11th February 2024.

Goethe-Institut launches new artist-in-residence programme focused on emerging quantum technologies 

The Goethe-Institut Irland has launched Studio Quantum, a new international artist-in-residence programme and event series, which explores emerging quantum technologies through the lens of art. Run by the Goethe-Institut in partnership with Trinity College Dublin, CONNECT – the SFI Research Centre for Future Networks and Communications, Trinity Quantum Alliance, Project Arts Centre, and The Douglas Hyde Gallery of Contemporary Art, the residency programme and accompanying event series are designed to explore the future impact of quantum technologies.

The Goethe-Institut Irland has announced details of ‘Entangled’, a public event hosted by the institute on 7th December 2022, which will shine a light on the current landscape of quantum computing and examine the relationship between quantum technologies and the arts.
